Updates I now coat my lures with Envirotex Epoxy which means that the paint finish lasts for much longer. I am currently sending small batches of lures over to Holland as I get time, Diederik Terlaak Poot will be dealing with the sales and you should please contact him regarding payments. The payments from the time spent making these will fund my renewed interest in Lure design which is what got me started in this business many years ago. Brand new Design. I'm rather excited by a new lure that I originally started work on a few years ago, with the pressure of orders it had been shelved having taken up a lot of time that I could not afford. But now with a clear mind and new ideas I think I have perfected it! I don't have a name for it yet but I'm sure that will evolve. The new Lure is a side to side glider but the difference is that this one is virtually neutrally buoyant, it very slowly floats back up after diving during the retrieve. It does appear to literally hang in the water for a long time, and further tests this week should tell me what diving depth can be achieved. I predict it may be over 20 feet and more? I have always wanted to design and build a lipless Jerk bait with the action of the Darter, that floated, and finally its done! I have had so many fish hit darters that were virtually neutral weighted as they hung in the water. That's ok in drains, margins and shallow pools, the problem was getting the lure deeper in bigger waters as it would not sink enough and acted as a surface lure. The great thing about this lure is that you can cast out a long way, get the lure down to the depth you want and fish it all the way back without fear of it sinking and either snagging on weed or something worse. With practice you will be able to fish this lure close to the bottom on any water without fear of snagging up. With minor tweaks I will be able to build in a feature that allows you to control the rate of its dive and running depth. It is a brand new profile which looks extremely fish realistic to the Pike and other predators. It's design and features have not been seen or used before and these will be registered for copyright. Various anglers will be testing the lure and I hope to publish the reports as I get them. Diederik got into the fish with the new lure on a sunny hot day last week, read more........
